The technology of laser hair removal is advancing rapidly. Laser hair removal is one of the most fashionable, and non-invasive cosmetic procedures for the unwanted hair. It is fast and easy and applicable to big areas using spot sizes accordingly to the desired places of the body.
Alex laser hair removal provides the most effective and efficient hair removal available in the world today. This is because the alexandrite laser emits an exact wavelength of light (755 nm), which is the perfect wavelength to attach to the melanin in the hair and damage hair follicles. The laser emits a gentle beam of high-intensity light that penetrates and passes deep through the skin, to the hair follicle, where the laser light is absorbed. Upon absorption, the laser energy is transformed into heat, which can destroy the follicle.
Laser Hair Removal has been a welcome alternative to traditional hair removal such as shaving and waxing which can be uncomfortable if not painful, requiring repeated visits to the beautician, not to mention the awkward appearance of pimply skin. Compared to waxing and shaving hair removal techniques, laser hair removal can be cheaper in the long run and it save around 80% by its application.

Avoid sun two weeks before and after laser.
Don’t bleach, wax or pluck 4 to 6 weeks before and after laser sessions.
Shave the desired area which prevents burning of the underlying epidermis and thus ensure most of laser energy is directed deep into the hair shaft to remove the hair effectively.
Tanned skin should wait until it fades away.
Darker skin needs bleaching cream 5 to 6 weeks before and after laser treatment.

Before the session, apply mild soap to remove any creams, perfumes and deodorants.

After laser treatment, there is some expectations;
Treatment can last from few minutes to several hours depending on size and location applied.
Safety glass applied to protect the eyes.
Before the laser pulse energy is delivered, a dynamic cooling device with spray coolant is emitted.
After laser, the treated area will be pink or red, per follicular edema’ which means the right and proper dose of energy has been delivered, which will last from few minutes to several hours.
Apply sun block with SPF 30 or more when going outdoors.
It is important to acknowledge that not all laser hair removal is the same, as there are some cheaper and more inferior versions of hair removal such as IPL (Intense Pulse Laser). IPL is not true laser hair removal, and is only partially effective. IPL Laser Hair Removal uses full spectrum light (as the one of the light bulb), while Lasers use just one wavelength of consistent and coherent light. Light from a Laser is specifically designed to target hair removal, without exposing you to any unnecessary light radiation figure 2. Thus single wavelength lasers are more effective at hair removal, and thus its little costly more than the inferior IPL treatments available. Whereas, the IPL is a much inferior and less effective hair removal technique and the results often don’t last very long.
A course of around 6 to 8 sessions for maximum results is needed; this is because the laser can only treat hair in the active growth stage and hair can be in any one of the three stages of hair growth cycle.
