I work in Ohio as an adult psychiatric nurse practitioner BC. I run a 24 bed in-patient unit. I see everything. I work M-F. I make $190,000.00 a year. Sometimes I’ll pick up a weekend and get paid extra. I’m an independent contractor. So after taxes I make about 150,000.00. I don’t know where your getting your numbers but they possibly could hurt Ohio’s reputation.Your information may turn away good NP’s who want to work here.
